“A language is a system of arbitrary vocal symbols by means of which a social group cooperates.”A definition formulated by American Linguists Bernard Bloch and George L. Trager. Humans utilize a set of symbols in communication to convey information, feelings, and influence interactions, these symbols differ from region to region and culture to culture hence, creating different characteristics of languages.
