Jane Jacobs – Urbanist



Without any formal training as a planner, Jacobs a renowned urbanist and activist took a community based approach to city planning. Jane Jacobs had a contribution towards urban planning of many cities in the world, like in New York, her work advocated towards not having a car centered approach to city planning.
